The Death of Scales

Just a short one today as I don’t need to explain this to you in great detail because I can almost guarantee that this has happened to you at some point in your life.

I personally DON’T use scales for this exact reason

Scales are usually the bain of most peoples lives especially women when it comes to losing weight.

Most women will tend to look upon scales as something that will determine how well they are doing and it usually harms most women’s confidence in the process.

There also seems to be this fear factor surrounding using scales in case you DON’T like what you see and you are not able to cope with it if it says you have put on weight which can have a MASSIVE psychological effect on you long term about just losing weight in general

The problem is that we are told to use scales to weigh ourselves from a young age and we don’t think about any other measurements apart from using scales.

My solution is one of two things which is a little contradictory to what I have just been talking about but I would suggest buying some specialist body fat scales such as Tanita scales. These can be found on Amazon or click the link here to find them

The second option that I would use is to use a tape measure which can be found in any big DIY store and measure your chest, waist, hips and thighs and remeasure these areas once a month so that you can see proper and substantial changes in your body.

I hope this has helped you in some way
